I found this in a file of writing for a SF project. I lolled reading it.
“Dmitri, this had better be...”
“Linz, did you give authorization for the transportation of a Europan slug?”
“What?” Her mask of cool indifference dropped and she stared several minuets without saying anything.
“The port authorities are trying to load a dead one onto the ship. Said you gave them authorization to do so. It is not...wrapped.”
“Oh dear god.”
“It stinks.”
