Happy Thanksgiving

I am behind. Horribly, utterly losing behind. BUT I'm still going, for several reasons.
1) I love this story
2) I am writing daily again. Even if it is only a couple hundred words here and there, I am WRITING.
3) I reallly love this story
It needs a title, badly. NaNothing just doesn't swing it.
But have a snip:
She closed her eyes. It was a dream. Nothing more. Another woosh and something blocked out the sun. She pushed herself up a bit, forcing her eyes open and saw... something coiling through the air, turning around the far side of the temple and out of sight. Xin frowned and scrambled, instinctivly crouching when the thing swept by again and again. The fourth time it passed but turned above her and when she looked up she saw the thick deep green body of the thing coiling around the building at the top. then a huge head peered over the top, its' narrow snout was as long as she was tall and she was certain that its' mouth harbored long teeth. She swallowed and crept closer.
